    THE GREEN LEAF & KASARA TOWNHOUSE FRONT DESK

    The front line of our hotel, Front desk staff must be able to deliver exceptional service to our guests. Tasks include check in, check out, recommendations for activities, restaurants, and ski lessons. Successful candidates will display the following: excellent communication skills, a friendly and helpful disposition, patience in the face of challenges and the capacity to exercise good judgment where necessary. Neat presentable appearance a must.

    Requirements:
    • Guest service experience
    • Ability to work in Japan; if not a resident of Japan
    • Capacity to communicate in English (native, fluent or advanced)

    Assets:
    • Additional spoken languages (Japanese and Mandarin are highly regarded)
    • Guest service related training or experience
    • Knowledge of Hotel Operating Systems
    • Previous work in winter resort environment

  • CONCIERGE & BELL

    The Bell and Concierge team are among the first to greet guest upon arrival. Armed with insightful resort knowledge, you will assist holidaymakers to select and reserve the right activities, dining venues, and assist in creating lasting memories for their family.   • BARTENDER / BARISTA

    Make new friends while serving drinks and food at select restaurants within Niseko Vilage. Tasks include preparing and serving hot drinks, beer, wine, cocktails, or food. Counting inventory and cleanliness of venues. Previous experience a plus but not required!

    • Ability to work in Japan; if not a resident of Japan

  • SKI AND SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS

    Niseko Village Snow School (NVSS) mostly caters to English speaking guests from all over the world, in particular Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In many cases, our lesson participants are experiencing snow sports for the first time. Operating within a family-friendly resort, our mission is to provide the very best in fun and safe snow sports experiences for all ages and abilities.

    The ideal NVSS Instructor is dynamic and engaging, their main purpose being to provide priceless memories for our guests. He or she will be dedicated to ensuring their guest's goals and expectations are exceeded in an encouraging and safe environment.

    Successful candidates will be passionate, patient and flexible individuals ready to jump into any situation within a moment's notice.

    Minimum Requirements:
    • A completed instructor association certification (Level I or equivalent)
    • Excellent conversational English
    • Service industry experience, preferable snow sports related
    • A willingness to work in a multi-cultural environment
    • Eligibility to work in Japan

    Assets:
    • High certifications (Level III / IV or equivalent)
    • Cross-over certifications
    • Snow sports instructing experience
    • Additional spoken languages (Japanese and Chinese are highly regarded, also French, Russian, Spanish, etc.)

    • From 1 December 2016 to 28 February 2017 for mid-term contracts

  • SNOW SCHOOL FRONT DESK & RESERVATIONS ATTENDANT

Armed with insightful resort knowledge, you will assist holidaymakers to select and reserve the right activities, creating lasting memories for their family. Successful candidates will display the following: excellent communication skills, a friendly and helpful disposition, patience in the face of challenges and the capacity to exercise good judgment where necessary.

    Requirements:
    • Guest service experience
    • Practical knowledge of ski and snowboarding or a passion to learn
    • Ability to work in Japan; if not a resident of Japan
    • Capacity to communicate in English (native, fluent or advanced)

    Assets:
    • Additional spoken languages (Japanese and Chinese are highly regarded, also French, Russian, Spanish, etc.)
    • Guest service related training or education
    • Previous work in a snowsports environment

  • NISEKO KIDS CHILD CARE PROVIDER (CCP)

    Indoors and out, a Niseko Kids Child Care Provider (CCP) nurtures, entertains and uplifts our little guests. Fun, laughter and safety are at the heart of our childcare centre and our CCPs strive to uphold that high standard with each and every child. Successful candidates will display the following: a love for children, patience, a kind and friendly disposition and the capacity to manage situations of emergency in a calm manner.

    Requirements:
    • Childcare experience
    • Ability to work in Japan
    • Capacity to communicate in English (native, fluent or advanced)
    • Childcare references

  • LIFT OPERATOR

    Our Lift Operators play an important role which includes daily interaction with guests, and so must maintain the high level of customer service Niseko Village prides itself on throughout the day. You are on the front line so need to be equipped with a good knowledge of the mountain, so that any guest enquiries can be answered. Safety is also key when it comes to providing for our guests, so an alert and diligent attitude is an absolute must. This is a physical position, and candidates must be able to maintain a certain level of physical labour, including lifting. They must also be able to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods of time.

    Requirements:
    • Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability
    • Customer service experience
    • Ability to perform physical labour
    • Ability to work in Japan
    • A willingness to work in a multi-cultural environment
    • Capacity to communicate to English (native, fluent or advanced)

    Assets:
    • A second spoken language: Japanese, Chinese, Russian or French
    • Previous work in a snowsports environment
    • First Aid training

  • SKI AND SNOWBOARD RENTAL ATTENDANT

    Our Rental Attendants are one of the first resort employees our guests will interact with, and so a high level of customer service is required so that our guests can start their holiday in the best way possible. Many of our guests have never skied or snowboarded before, so a good knowledge of the sports allows our Rental Attendants to provide our guests with up to date advice and sooth first timer nerves.

    Requirements:
    • A knowledge of ski and/or snowboard equipment
    • Customer service experience
    • Ability to work in Japan
    • A willingness to work in a multi-cultural environment
    • Capacity to communicate to English (native, fluent or advanced)

    Assets:
    • A second spoken language: Japanese, Chinese, Russian or French
    • Previous work in a snowsports environment or as a rental attendant
